Contrast it with another small shop just around the corner: Annie Muldoon’s at 101 North King Street. Years ago it used to sell fish and poultry and the occasional rabbit. It was in a terrible state when you did your post on it, but in the past year it has been repaired and repainted, there are new lovely wrought iron railings on the windows, and – nice touch – it still has an “A. MULDOON” shop sign on the front (although it’s fairly safe to assume it’s no longer a shop).

Add YoursThe shop closed down a good while back and was like that until early last year (2015), when all the signs were removed and it became a plain grey.
That’s it Mel! I was disappointed when I saw it had been painted over. I loved the character of the old shop front.
