We had a dairy on cork st mooneys was the name ,they were there in the 70s people would bring there milk can. With a lid on it ,they had cow sheds in the back its now called Mcgoverns corner with apartments on the site .The family moved to Crumlin when the dad died
Thanks Anne – I’ll add it to the map. I wonder if it’s the same Cork Street dairy that I read about in a book recently. The name of the book (and the dairy) escapes me, but I’ll let you know if I find it again.
